Local Crow is a group of people who have decided that we need to “do something” to fight for our liberties and democracy. As a result of the last election and what many view as a backward slide of legislation, eliminating years of forward progress to our civil rights, we have found a voice in our community to educate and make a difference in our collective future. All humans have rights and therefore we need to reach out to our neighbors and have kitchen table talks and action about what we can do for each other. Nobody’s story is the same but we can find common ground by hearing each others struggles and helping those in need because you never know when you will need a hand. To ensure our voices spread across the state of Iowa, Local Crow joined Indivisible.org. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate across the state to bring real action to our local area. We welcome anyone who wants to join. Our primary territory is Freemont, Mills, Pottawattamie, and Harrison counties to ensure we have opportunities to meet face to face and come to your hometown too.
We are working with other local organizations in SW Iowa to build a larger coalition of folks who can build a louder voice for our community and look out for those who are being left behind or are afraid to speak up. If you’d like to join our mission please contact us at
